You will find our nature house in beautiful Poortugaal, just under the smoke of Rotterdam. The B&B is located in our beautiful and cozy backyard, bordering the Albrandswaard polder. Be awakened in the morning by the pheasants, hares or if you are lucky, the deer that live in this polder. You will stay in a spacious and cozy apartment that is fully equipped. The apartment is 30 m2 and has air conditioning that can both cool and heat. There is a cozy sitting room with a beautiful view of our garden and swimming pond. The B&B has a private terrace where you can sit and enjoy the flowers, plants and birds. The B&B further consists of a kitchenette, a bathroom with rain shower and a bedroom with a spacious bed (210x160). The bed can be made up as desired with a double topper, or with separate mattresses and with a double comforter or two single comforters.
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house is located on the edge of the Albrandswaard polder. From the living room you look out over this polder, where many (predatory) birds, hares, pheasants and deer live. In the garden you will find many plants, flowers and (fruit) trees. There is also a small greenhouse and a vegetable garden where you can take a look. The B & B is located along various walking and cycling routes and therefore an ideal base for walking or cycling. The Rhoonse Grienden are within walking distance. These grienden are freshwater tidal areas. This means that the channels in the areas fill up and empty to the rhythm of ebb and flood. This is very rare and because of this and special plants grow. In the vicinity are several nature reserves where you can enjoy nature and tranquility. Think for example of the Biesbosch and the island of Tiengemeten.
