Come and completely unwind in our uniquely situated off-grid glamping tent. Take the rowboat through the beautiful “De Lansing” nature reserve to the island where the glamping tent is located. It’s about a 100-meter row—a unique experience, since the island is accessible only by boat. Enjoy the many birds and waterfowl and all the other wildlife all around you. Listen to the rustling of the reeds and the lapping of the water. Off-grid camping, but with the comfort of a good bed, a cozy tent, and plenty of amenities. There’s a kitchenette with basic essentials: a gas heater, a cooler, a gas grill, and a 3-burner stove. On the porch, you can enjoy the stunning view. In the evening, by a wood fire, as you gaze into the flames, you’ll feel once again how wonderful it is to be close to nature. Wake up to the rhythm of nature, and practice yoga or meditation in complete peace. Read a book, go fishing, or simply do nothing at all. That dream spot really does exist! "De Lansing" Nature Reserve is a unique private area in the heart of the Green Heart. It offers off-grid recreation, but starting in May 2025, it will also feature a touch of luxury in the recreation barn, complete with amenities such as restrooms and showers. There’s also an “Honesty Bar” that you can use during your stay. The nature reserve is the life’s work of Jan van Leeuwen. The proceeds are therefore used for the conservation and maintenance of this unique piece of nature. Anglers, birdwatchers, and those seeking peace and quiet feel right at home here. The fishing is excellent, and the diversity of birds and waterfowl is unique for birdwatchers. We often hear kingfishers, reed warblers, linnets, Cetti’s warblers, and bitterns. The osprey also makes regular appearances. We hope you’ll enjoy nature as much as we do.
