Welcome to the green heart of Portugal. The Quinta is located on a small hill with a terraced garden of 1.5 acres, full of olive trees and various fruit trees. The Quinta can be rented in its entirety and, with 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, can accommodate 14 people. Because of our years of experience in the Amsterdam hospitality industry, we can, if desired, provide meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner at an additional cost. We have a 12 x 5 meter saltwater pool, a covered BBQ, refrigerator, freezer and a spacious deck of about 100m2. We have an extensive network of Yoga teachers, soundbath, masseurs etc. Should you wish to make use of them for a fee, you can, if you indicate it in time. Our location is also ideally suited for retreats, weddings, team building events, cooking workshops and much more. A place to completely unwind, ask for the possibilities.
Nature and surroundings
The Quinta is located in the green hills of central Portugal, in a hiking/hiking area par excellence. Its central location (almost in the exact middle of Portugal) makes it a perfect base for visiting cities, beaches, villages, lakes, horseback riding and much more. The nature that surrounds us is wonderfully beautiful and offers tremendous opportunities, from mushroom picking in the autumn months, to foraging in the spring and summer months. We have a network of botanists where you can book interesting foraging walks, where you can make and do all kinds of things with what you have picked and collected. We are 45 minutes by car from Coimbra, a super cozy city with the oldest university in Europe, 1.5 hours from the coast (Nazaré, Figueira da Foz, Foz d'Arelho etc) and 2 hours from Porto as well as Lisbon, Aveiro, Braga etc. Portugal has many beautiful and interesting cities and natural areas waiting to be discovered!
