Welcome to our nature house, an attractive cottage in the middle of the forest on the edge of the beautiful nature reserve De Witte Bergen. Ideal for peace seekers, hikers and nature lovers who want to escape the hustle and bustle. The cottage is located on a generous, wooded plot with plenty of privacy and a lovely quiet atmosphere. The living room with large windows offers a beautiful view of the greenery. There are two comfortable bedrooms, each with a double bed, and a bathroom with bathtub and shower. Upstairs is a second toilet, handy for at night. Through the French doors you step out onto the terrace where you can enjoy singing birds and the silence of the forest. Your dog is welcome and parking is available right next to the cottage. The hospitality and care are as you would expect at Beau cottage - personal, clean and attentive to a relaxing stay. You can add a linen package with made beds and towels for a fee, so you arrive carefree.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located directly on hiking and biking trails, including the beautiful Reest valley. In the vicinity you will find forests, heathland, small streams and picturesque villages. A short distance away are Meppel, Staphorst and National Park Dwingelderveld. Also perfect as a base for a day trip to Giethoorn. During your stay you may use, among other things, the swimming facilities at the nearby campsite 'De Vossenburcht'. On the keychain you will find a key labeled 'DOM'. With this key you can enter the campsite through the gate between cottage 3 and 5. At the campsite you will find, among other things, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a snack bar, a restaurant and a cozy children's playground. It is also possible to rent bicycles here. Playpond De Zwarte Dennen The recreational pond De Zwarte Dennen (distance 3.5km) is a wonderful place to enjoy nice weather. The pond is surrounded by sand - perfect for sunbathing, building sandcastles or paddling in the shallow water.
