From the cozy living room with large windows you overlook the surrounding greenery. The open kitchen with dining area is fully equipped and invites you to cook and dine together. The cottage has two comfortable bedrooms, both with a double bed, and a neat bathroom with bathtub and shower. Through the French doors you walk directly onto the terrace, where you can quietly enjoy nature and birdsong. Your dog is welcome and parking is easy right next to the house. Extra nice: on the second floor is a second toilet, handy for at night. In any season, this Nature House is a wonderful place to slow down, recharge and really experience the silence of the forest. After booking you can easily add a linen package, including made beds and towels, so you arrive relaxed and carefree.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located directly on several hiking and biking trails, including the beautiful Reest valley. In the vicinity you will find vast forests, heathlands, babbling brooks and charming villages. A short distance away are Meppel, Staphorst and National Park Dwingelderveld, among others, and Giethoorn is also easy to reach for a day out. During your stay you can use the facilities of the nearby campsite De Vossenburcht. At the keychain you will find a key labeled DOM, with which you can enter the campsite through the entrance gate between cottages 3 and 5. At the campsite you will find, among other things, a heated outdoor pool, snack bar, restaurant, children's playground and the possibility of renting bicycles. For even more outdoor fun, the recreational lake De Zwarte Dennen is just 3.5 km away - a wonderful place to enjoy the water and sun when the weather is nice. Please note that there is a wood stove in the cottage, but it is currently out of use.
