Behind the house is a garden with swimming pond, a terrace and behind it a converted barn with toilet and bar. From the terrace you can enjoy all the insects, birds, hedgehogs that come to the swimming pond to drink, bathe and find food. And if you want to swim or float on an air mattress, no problem, that's possible. Children need a swimming certificate because of the 2 ponds in the garden. The backyard, with swimming pond belonging to the house, is about 33 meters deep. Behind it is a piece of garden of about 44 meters deep with 3 large borders in the middle and a small pond, here you may also wander around or relax in one of the chairs, only here you can meet the landlords. Again behind it is a garden of about 54 meters deep where we (the landlords) have our vegetable garden, fruit trees and food forest. Here you are welcome when we are working there.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located between the Beuseberg and the Holterberg and is just outside the built-up area of Holten. There is a lot to do in Holten and the surrounding area of for example: walking, cycling, a game of miniature golf, petting zoo, outdoor swimming pool, an escapetour through Holten, several museums, a cozy village center with nice terraces and stores, rent an electric walking bike or a Toek Toek, a small vehicle with a roof and 4 seats.
