Nature and surroundings

Our B&B is nestled in the countryside, surrounded by expansive farm fields, trees, and shrubs. The house stands on its own 7,500 m² lot, surrounded by stately oak trees, laurel bushes, and abundant greenery—a place where peace and privacy come naturally. Far from public roads, you’ll experience peace and space here, and the nearest village is only a 10-minute drive away. A train station is also about 10 minutes away, making the location easily accessible while still being nestled in the heart of nature. The surrounding area is ideal for long walks and bike rides, during which you can enjoy the rural views, forests, and the unique character of the Peel region. In addition, the picturesque villages in the area invite you to stop by for a pleasant visit, with charming streets, outdoor cafes, and local hospitality. The Golfhorst golf course is a 5-minute drive away, and Venlo is a 15-minute drive away.

Every room was tidy, had its own really nice bathroom, and even though it was 30 degrees outside, it was very cool inside and everyone slept very well! Outside, there’s a large, glass-enclosed kitchen/lounge where we could all sit together, as well as outdoor seating, umbrellas, plenty of places to sit, a lovely design, and a short path to the sauna and hot tub, which we were also able to enjoy.

We can’t comment on the following activities since we didn’t leave this wonderful property—we were only there for one night :)—but we imagine all the things to do in the area are wonderful!

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

The peace and quiet around this little cottage is a dream! The grounds are very large and lovingly landscaped! We were there with a group of young women for a bachelorette party and enjoyed every moment. The owners were very friendly and helpful!

What does “Fireworks-free” mean?
The host indicates that the area is firework-free. Firework-free means that no firework bangs can be heard in and around the accommodation. You might occasionally hear some noise or see some light from fireworks set off outside the immediate area. It is important that you agree with the landlord on what you can expect.
