Nature and surroundings
The cottage is nestled in a pine forest, just a few minutes from Lake Körbaer. The lake features a sandy beach with boat rentals, a playground, restrooms, and a snack bar, as well as many quiet coves that are within walking distance. The village is located right on the Flaming Skate trail, and nearby lies the Rochauer Heide, a protected nature reserve with vast forests and rare wildlife. A forest trail begins right on the property, perfect for walks, bike rides, or jogging. Squirrels and birds are frequent visitors. If you’d like, you can also simply enjoy nature right in the garden—in a beach chair or one of the hammocks. In the village, there’s a small café and a restaurant serving regional cuisine. The small grocery store in Lebusa is a 12-minute bike ride away. Larger shopping trips can be made in Dahme, a 22-minute bike ride away. Traveling by public transit: Körba am See is easily accessible by on-demand bus and train, for example via Jüterbog or Luckau/Uckro. I’d be happy to offer tips.
