Located between Haarlem and Amsterdam, adjacent to 'Het Landje van Gruijters' and within walking distance of picturesque Spaarndam, this brand new, handmade gypsy-style mobile home is ideal for two people. Surrounded by nature and silence, you will experience serenity and charm here. Inside you will find an eclectic interior with new equipment and vintage furniture. Outside you will enjoy your own garden with a nice sitting area and a beautiful starry sky at night. Wake up with birdsong, drink coffee with a view, take a refreshing dip in the lake or relax in the sauna (optional extra). Nature and surroundings
The nature house overlooks 'Het Landje van Gruijters', a pond located on the west side of the old village of Spaarndam. The pond has a very low water level and because of this many species of birds such as avocet, black-tailed godwit, sandpiper, spoonbill and redshank stay here. At 15 minutes walking distance you visit the picturesque old fishing village, Spaarndam, situated on the river Spaarne, where time seems to stand still. In the heart of Spaarndam is the Kolksluis, a medieval feat of hydraulic engineering from the year 1280. This is where the Spaarne, the IJ and the North Sea Canal come together, and history echoes in every stone. Cross the charming wooden bridges, visit the statue of the "boy who saved the dike," and enjoy a drink or snack at one of the delightful atmospheric waterfront spots: Café Spaarndam - a cozy pub with local beers and Dutch snacks Restaurant de Kolk - a cozy bistro with a view of the lock and delicious apple pie
