Spacious home in a beautiful location; the Kronenburgmeer was nearby. The host was very friendly and provided detailed answers to various questions. All the essentials for getting started were provided, which is always nice. The only comment is that the kitchen supplies were limited (1 small pan, 1 medium pan, and 4 wine glasses)—not enough for a house meant to accommodate 9 people. Since there were only 2 of us in the end, this wasn’t a problem for us. Additionally, comfortable garden chairs or lounge chairs would be a nice addition to enjoy the garden and the cool terrace next to the house.
The bedrooms on the ground floor were very cool, which was pleasant given the high temperatures. The garden isn’t fully fenced; there’s a small path through the woods leading to the street, which was convenient for letting the dog go outside, and there was also a gap in the fence near the neighbors that was quickly fixed by placing a chair there. Tuin niet volledig omheind, er loopt een padje naar de straat door een bos, handig om de hond langs buiten te laten gaan, en ook naar de buren was er een gat in de omheining wat snel opgelost was door het plaatsen van een stoel.
