Welcome to this green oasis in the middle of the busy Randstad. On our organic cheese farm, between the greenery and the meadows, we offer a spacious apartment (approx. 100 m2) for rent. The apartment is located on the second floor, accessible by stairs. It is bright and fresh and offers plenty of views of the surroundings. There are two spacious bedrooms, a nice bathroom, and a large kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. Outside, you can enjoy the view and nature in the green yard and orchard. A camping table offers the opportunity to enjoy breakfast or dinner outside. Of course you can watch the animals on the farm, and in season there is plenty of fruit to pick. In the farm store you can get delicious organic local products, including of course the Wilde Weide cheese - our specialty.
Nature and surroundings
Located in the triangle Zoetermeer - Leiden - Leidschendam, the Geerpolder, in which our organic cheese farm is located, is an unexpectedly green piece of the Netherlands. Leiden, with its many museums and historic city center is about 10 kilometers by bike and about 15 minutes by car. The Hague is about 15 kilometers and about 25 minutes by car. The beaches of Wassenaar and Scheveningen are also easily accessible, as are cities like Delft and Gouda. But closer is also much to enjoy, such as the many water - think recreational areas Vlietlanden and Nieuwe Driemanspolder - the green polders of Zoeterwoude and the windmills of Stompwijk. For children, Boerderij 't Geertje, about 1.5 kilometers away, is a must.
