Welcome to this green oasis in the middle of the busy Randstad. On our organic cheese farm, between the greenery and the meadows, we offer a spacious apartment (approx. 100 m2) for rent. The apartment is located on the second floor, accessible by stairs. It is bright and fresh and offers plenty of views of the surroundings. There are two spacious bedrooms, a nice bathroom, and a large kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator. Outside, you can enjoy the view and nature in the green yard and orchard. A camping table offers the opportunity to enjoy breakfast or dinner outside. Of course you can watch the animals on the farm, and in season there is plenty of fruit to pick. In the farm store you can get delicious organic local products, including of course the Wilde Weide cheese - our specialty.
Nature and surroundings
Located in the triangle Zoetermeer - Leiden - Leidschendam, the Geerpolder, in which our organic cheese farm is located, is an unexpectedly green piece of the Netherlands. Leiden, with its many museums and historic city center is about 10 kilometers by bike and about 15 minutes by car. The Hague is about 15 kilometers and about 25 minutes by car. The beaches of Wassenaar and Scheveningen are also easily accessible, as are cities like Delft and Gouda. We were completely satisfied with our stay. The water heater was broken, but that was well agreed and communicated in advance, so that was not a problem for us.
We zijn helemaal tevreden over ons verblijf. De boiler was kapot, maar dat was van tevoren goed afgesproken en gecommuniceerd, dus dat was voor ons geen probleem.
What a lovely quiet place on a cheese farm in South Holland. Here, near the Watering, it is rural, quiet and smells of cheese. The cheese tastes great and the apartment is excellently equipped, tasteful and soothing, so you can unwind and let all the stress slip away from you.
