Always wanted to sleep overlooking the beautiful river IJssel? That is possible in our nature house which is located in the outskirts of Zwolle less than 8 minutes by bike from the city center. Ideal to combine both a visit to the city and nature. Back to basics, no wifi but fall asleep and wake up to the rhythm of nature. Tip for light sleepers is handy to bring a sleeping mask. No breakfast is served but coffee, tea, lemonade, dinnerware, microwave and a refrigerator are available to make a tasty breakfast. And at walking distance of 100 m is the tavern "the English Work" located where you can eat. Our nature house is a real nature house so not always free of cobwebs in the spider season unfortunately ;) - stay more nights possible after consultation - possible use of sauna, just via dm mail or whatsapp indicate after booking and cost € 15 pp on site or via tikkie to comply.

Outer dike is our area and cottage on the IJssel with the park the English Work around the corner. Overlooking Hattem and between the bike ferry to Hattem or the bike ferry to Zalk. Mark September 19, 2025 General rating:Beautiful and unique round cottage! Much attention has been paid to the layout and the facilities are also surprisingly complete. Windows all around so there is pleasant light. Nice that two windows can open, because moisture is a challenge in the cottage. Tip: a mosquito net would be nice! Outside there is plenty of privacy and you can use a spacious sauna. The nice benches and table deserve some extra attention. They can hardly be used now because they are overgrown with grass and weeds.
Prachtig en uniek rond huisje! Er is veel aandacht besteed aan de indeling en de faciliteiten zijn bovendien verrassend compleet. Rondom ramen waardoor er prettig veel licht is. Fijn dat er twee raampjes open kunnen, want vocht is wel een uitdaging in het huisje. Tip: een (voorzet) hor tegen de muggen zou prettig zijn! Buiten is er voldoende privacy en kan je gebruik maken van een ruime sauna. De leuke bankjes en tafel verdienen wel wat extra aandacht. Die zijn nu amper te gebruiken omdat ze overwoekerd zijn door gras en onkruid.
