NEW August 2025. Detached independent living accommodation for 3 persons This guest house is located in Wognum, against the small village of Wadway. A beautiful location overlooking the meadows, at the back of our garden, 40 meters from our own house. You have a terrace with seating and loungers and a veranda at the front, located on the water. Pets and smoking are not allowed.Downstairs you will find the living room, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with built-in stove, a refrigerator with freezer, a filter coffee maker and a kettle (coffee and tea are provided), a small oven and a dishwasher (tablets provided). kitchen utensils are plentiful. The cozy fireplace makes it extra cozy in the winter months as well as the (Christmas) lights inside and outside. Via a staircase leads to the sleeping area.Note: for a 2 person booking, the 2 bed made. For an extra bed € 15 cash / booking.Ted and Liset
Nature and surroundings
The city of Hoorn is 6.5 km away and is easily accessible by car, bicycle or public transport. In fact, the bus service to Hoorn starts and stops at our house, and from Hoorn there is a good train connection to Amsterdam, Schiphol, Alkmaar and Enkhuizen, among others. Hoorn is located on the Markermeer and has a beautiful city beach, and by car you can reach the coast within 40 minutes. You can also take beautiful bike rides from the residence through picturesque villages and there are plenty of hiking trails available. Of course, you can also enjoy the peace and quiet at the residence itself, overlooking the meadows, grazing cows and sheep, water birds and beautiful sunsets.
