Experience a 1- or 2-person (max. 3) 'me time' retreat in an authentic Mongolian yurt, in the middle of a private forest between picturesque Schagen and the most beautiful beach in the Netherlands. The cozy yurt (6.3 m in diameter) has a wood stove for warmth and coziness, on which you can also cook. There is electricity, a kettle and crockery available.Our 1.85 hectare site offers plenty of peace and space to unwind. Enjoy nature, a fire, hammocks and forest trails. Here you can especially hear the birds, the wind and experience the seasons in all their colors and scents. Opposite the yurt is a canopy (6 x 3.5 m) where you can sit sheltered. The sanitary facility is 30 m away, at the beginning of the forest. At the barn you will find a refrigerator, electric stove, pans and cooking utensils. You can also cook outside on the outdoor stove. No wifi, but silence, simplicity and nature.
Nature and surroundings
This yurt is part of our creative retreat that includes a bunker and studio in nearly 2 acres of private forest. So there can be several guests on the property. We ourselves live in the small house down the road and have been developing this place for almost 5 years now. If you like it you can add a shoot, cyanotype workshop or photowalk. Within cycling distance of beach, sea and picturesque Schagen with stores and restaurants. The vintage tandem for the beach and restaurant can be booked for 20 euros per day. Nice restaurants in the area are: Brasserie de Keuken, WOEST (Callantsoog), Strandpaviljoen Hargen (Hargen aan Zee), Zee&Zo (Petten) and in Schagen even more!
