Nature house in Schagerbrug

The path leading to the bunker had a lot of overhanging vegetation, so you had to walk with your ankles brushing against all kinds of plants, not knowing whether they would prick you or not. And in wet weather, that meant wet pants and/or legs.

Het pad naar de bunker toe had veel overhangend groen waardoor je met je enkels langs allerlei groen afmoet. Niet wetende of het prikt ja of nee. En bij nat weer dus een natte broek en of benen.

We found the road the cottage is on too dangerous to walk on, so we did everything by car.

Neem wel slaap maskers mee want de gordijnen zijn er enkel voor de inkijk en niet voor het licht tegen te houden.
De weg waar het huisje aan ligt vonden wij te gevaarlijk om te lopen. Dus alles met de auto gedaan.

The accommodation is highly recommended for younger, healthier people. It is a great starting point for all kinds of activities in North Holland. You could hear the wonderful twittering of birds and the background noise of some agricultural machinery. Everything remained quiet in the bunker with the windows closed. The natural grounds are a very promising area. The yurt is certainly very inviting for people who want to spend the night closer to nature. Another bunker needs to be lovingly renovated..... An exciting project. It will grow and flourish. I am sure of that. May the place give peace and inspiration to many more people. It is in the best of hands with Marjon and her husband. We can't say anything about the activities as we are restricted in our mobility ourselves.

Die Unterkunft ist für jüngere, gesündere Menschen unbedingt zu empfehlen. Als Ausgangspunkt für alle möglichen Aktivitäten in Nordholland top.
Zu hören war neben wunderbarem Vogelgezwitscher die Geräuschkulisse von einigen Landmaschinen.
Im Bunker blieb bei geschlossenem Fenster alles ruhig.
Das Naturgrundstück ist ein viel versprechendes Gelände. Die Jurte sicher recht einladend für Menschen, die noch dichter und unmittelbarer in der Natur übernachten mögen.
Ein weiterer Bunker will noch ebenso liebevoll renoviert werden.....
Ein spannendes Projekt.
Es wird wachsen und gedeihen. Da bin ich mir sicher. Möge der Ort noch vielen Menschen Ruhe und Inspiration schenken.
Er ist bei Marjon und ihrem Mann in besten Händen.
Zu den Aktivitäten können wir nichts sagen, da wir selbst in unserer Mobilität eingeschränkt sind.

We were greeted very friendly by Marjon. Marjon welcomed us and our requests were dealt with very courteously. The bunker is inviting, true to the photo. We missed some storage space for clothes. The bed was brilliant. A tall person has to tuck their head in. The front door and the door to the shower could otherwise take revenge. The shower was also great including high quality shampoo.... We missed a canopy or parasol in front of the bunker and a few comfortable, warm cushions for more comfortable chairs / loungers. We are both of an older age... The natural property suggests some plans. Healthy people without a handicap will certainly enjoy the site more. It would be exciting to see the still young project in a few years' time... We wish Marjon and J. continued success for all their visions. In the end, the site was too impassable for us. The areas around Schagerbrug and the tulip fields are picturesque. The beach in Petten is disabled-friendly, thank you Marjon

Wir sind sehr freundl. v. Marjon begrüßt worden u. unsere Anliegen wurden sehr zuvorkommend behandelt.
Der Bunker ist fotogetreu einladend.
Vermißt haben wir etwas Stauraum für Kleidung. Das Bett war genial. Ein großer Mensch muß den Kopf einziehen. Die Haustür und die Tür zur Dusche könnten sich sonst rächen. Top war auch die Dusche inklusive hochwertigem Shampoo....
Vor dem Bunker haben wir eine Überdachung oder Sonnenschirm vermißt und ein paar bequeme, warme Auflagen für bequemere Stühle /Liege vermißt. Wir sind beide älteren Semesters...
Das Naturgrundstück läßt einige Vorhaben erahnen. Gesunde Menschen ohne Handycap haben sicher mehr Freude an dem Gelände.
Spannend wäre ein Blick auf das noch junge Projekt in ein paar Jahren...
Wir wünschen Marjon u. J. weiterhin viel Erfolg für all ihre Visionen.
Für uns ist das Gelände letzten Endes zu unwegsam gewesen.
Die Gegenden um Schagerbrug, die Tulpenfelder sind malerisch. Der Strand in Petten Behinderten freundlich.

We had a wonderful weekend in the bunker! The cottage is mega nice decorated with all kinds of funny details. We made good use of the wood stove outside and made for a relaxing evening. It is located in a wooded area that you should definitely explore.We were warmly welcomed by the owners who enthusiastically told us about their renovation on the property.The only downside I can think of is that you can hear the road it is located on quite well from the cottage, but at the same time it is so quiet that only occasionally something passes by.

Wij hebben een heerlijk weekendje gehad in de bunker! Het huisje is mega leuk ingericht met allerlei grappige details. Het houtkacheltje dat buiten staat hebben we goed gebruikt en zorgde voor een ontspannen avond. Het ligt op een bosachtig terrein dat je zeker even moet verkennen.
We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaren die enthousiast vertelden over hun verbouwing op het terrein.
Het enige minpuntje dat ik kan bedenken is dat je de weg waar het aan ligt goed hoort vanuit het huisje, maar die is tegelijkertijd zo rustig dat er maar af en toe iets voorbij komt.
