Nature house in Liempde

We unfortunately had to go home the same day due to private circumstances and the owner was sympathetic and understanding. We had additionally booked the jacuzzi and "got" it from her as a gift because we unfortunately had to go again. An incredibly sweet gesture. In addition, we could check in an hour earlier by mutual agreement, which was also very nice. We were also offered a heater for extra warmth. The owner is very sympathetic. Parking: You can easily park your car at the beginning of the property.

Wij moesten door privé omstandigheden helaas dezelfde dag nog naar huis en de eigenaresse was sympathiek en begripvol. We hadden de jacuzzi bijgeboekt en “kregen” deze van haar cadeau omdat wij helaas weer moesten gaan. Een ontzettend lief gebaar. Daarnaast konden we een uurtje eerder inchecken in overleg, dat was ook erg prettig. We kregen dus ook netjes een kacheltje aangeboden voor extra warmte. De eigenaresse is zeer sympathiek.

Parkeren: De auto kun je makkelijk kwijt aan het begin van het terrein.

It is a beautiful area where you can do a lot of walking in nature, on the edge of a beautiful picturesque village where there is also one and other things to find.The caravan is nicely decorated, it can be seen that a lot of effort has been put into this. But as the ad describes it is (really very) back to basics and you have to love this. The toilet (camping toilet) is in a cubicle next to the caravan. There is no running water, but there is a jerrycan with water so you can fill the kettle with that. We were offered a heater for warmth, we had booked the jacuzzi and it was nice and warm, only the water was not as clean as we expected. By the way, the jacuzzi is not fully shielded. Only "critical note" is that perhaps the cleaning could be looked at a little more strictly. All in all for those who love very basic camping in a nice retro caravan and nature, highly recommended! If you like a little more luxury, I would look further.

Het is een mooie omgeving waar je lekker veel kan wandelen in de natuur, op het randje van een prachtig pittoresk dorpje waar ook één en ander te vinden is.

De caravan is leuk ingericht, het is te zien dat hier veel moeite voor gedaan is. Maar zoals de advertentie beschrijft is het wel (echt heel erg) back to basic en hier moet je van houden. Het toilet (campingtoilet) zit in een hokje naast de caravan. Er is geen stromend water aanwezig, wel een jerrycan met water dus daarmee kun je bijv. de waterkoker vullen. We kregen een kacheltje aangeboden voor de warmte.

We hadden de jacuzzi geboekt en deze was lekker warm, alleen het water was wat minder schoon als dat we verwacht hadden. De jacuzzi staat overigens niet volledig afgeschermd.

Enige “kritische noot” is dat er wellicht wat strenger gekeken kan worden naar de schoonmaak.

Al met al voor de liefhebbers van heel basic kamperen in een leuke retro caravan en de natuur, aanrader! Hou je van iets meer luxe, dan zou ik verder kijken.

Nice relaxed environment, nice and back-to-basic (for the enthusiast) with a luxury edge: spent the evening bubbling in a Jacuzzi. Very sympathetic host! The son was also very friendly and offered us a heater for the camper in the evening. All in all a top experience!

Fijne ontspannen omgeving, lekker back-to-basic (voor de liefhebber) met een luxe randje: de avond heerlijk bubbelend doorgebracht in een jacuzzi. Ontzettend sympathieke host! Ook de zoon was erg vriendelijk en bood ons in de avond nog een kachel aan voor in de camper. Al met al een topervaring!

Nice relaxed environment, near nature reserves the Scheeken and the Mortelen, where you can spot red deer, among others. The Sonne Heath is also a stone's throw away, where there are also several MTB routes. The garden where you stay is shared with guests of a second accommodation but there are enough corners to create privacy.

Fijne ontspannen omgeving, vlakbij natuurgebieden de Scheeken en de Mortelen, waar je onder andere edelherten kunt spotten. Ook de Sonse Heide ligt op een steenworp afstand, waar ook diverse MTB-routes lopen. De tuin waarin je verblijft wordt gedeeld met gasten van een tweede accommodatie maar er zijn genoeg hoekjes om privacy te creëren.
