Nature house in Dwingeloo

A lovely cottage with cozy and comfortably furnished rooms. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was beautiful and well-appointed. The surroundings and the option to eat outside in the outdoor kitchen make you want to stay outside. But when the weather isn’t so great, it’s also very nice inside with a large living room and dining table, games, and cozy sofas to curl up in and have a nice chat. On the grounds, there were some cute animals: very friendly ponies, chickens with chicks, roosters, and a cuckoo in the woods. How fun is that! It does mean you have to leave your dog at home.
In the surrounding area, you can enjoy hours of walking right from the house along the Dwingelerveld and through the woods and beautiful farmland. We highly recommend the outdoor escape at the Natuurmonumenten visitor center.

Heerlijk huisje met fijne en gezellig ingerichte ruimtes. De bedden waren heel goed, het sanitair was mooi en fijn. De omgeving en mogelijkheid om buiten te eten in de buitenkeuken nodigen uit om lekker buiten te blijven. Maar bij wat minder weer is het binnen ook heel fijn met een grote woonkamer en eettafel, spelletjes en fijne banken om in weg te kruipen en lekker te kletsen. Op het terrein waren er leuke:heel vriendelijke ponies, kippetjes met kuikens, hanen en in het bos de koekoek. Hoe leuk is dat! Betekent wel dat je je hond thuis moet laten.
In de omgeving kan je vanuit het huis heerlijk uren wandelen langs het Dwingelerveld en door de bossen en het mooie akkerland. Aanrader is de outdoor escape bij het bezoekerscentrum van Natuurmonumenten.
We komen heel graag terug!

It’s a cottage in a very quiet location on a beautiful, spacious property with plenty of privacy and nature. The hosts were very friendly, and the cottage was clean and fully equipped. See below for more details :-)

Het is een heel rustig gelegen huisje op een mooi groot terrein met veel privacy en natuur. De ontvangst was heel vriendelijk en het huisje was schoon en heel compleet. Zie verder hieronder :-)

We were with 10 people, including 3 small children. It is a wonderful place. Inside it is stylish, clean, and large enough to retreat even with such a group. Outside is spacious (trampoline, space to play soccer/ games), but you can also quietly read a book while the kids play. There are lots of animals. We were welcomed hospitably, enjoyed the hot tub and there was even a pool set up for us to use! It is adjacent to a nature reserve and the village is also within biking distance.

We waren met 10 personen, waarvan 3 kleine kinderen. Het is een heerlijke plek. Binnen is het stijlvol, schoon, en groot genoeg om ook met een dergelijke groep je even terug te trekken. Buiten is het ruim (trampoline, ruimte om te voetballen/ spellen te doen), maar kan je ook rustig een boekje te lezen terwijl de kinderen spelen. Er zijn veel dieren. We werden gastvrij ontvangen, hebben genoten van de hottub en er was zelfs een zwembad opgezet waar we gebruik van mochten maken!
Het ligt aan een natuurgebied en ook het dorp is op fiets afstand.
