Fairytale stay in the woods - where silence still really exists. Hidden among ancient trees, at the end of a winding dirt road, lies a cottage that seems straight out of a fairytale book. This authentic Hansel & Gretel cottage is a unique place where peace, nature and simplicity come together. Here you hear no traffic, no neighbors, no rush. Only the soft rustling of leaves, the singing of birds and the occasional curious scurrying of a squirrel. In this oasis of silence, time seems to stand still for a moment. The cottage is simple and suitable for 4 people and fully fenced - ideal for those who want to bring their dog(s) without worry. Inside, the cottage exudes warmth and charm, with authentic details. Outside you step directly into the forest for endless walks, bike rides or just to stop and take a deep breath. The stairs leading up are a bit steep and the cottage is not suitable for people taller than 1.95 mt.

Holtingerveld & Uffelte - Drents landscape full of stories Between the vast heathlands, ancient dolmens and sand drifts lies the Holtingerveld - one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Drenthe. This unique landscape breathes history and tranquility. You walk here over old cart tracks, past burial mounds from prehistoric times and over purple heather that blooms beautifully in the summer. In spring you can hear the lark singing, in autumn you can smell the scent of damp moss and fallen leaves. Here you are really outside.
