Our vacation home has a unique location on the edge of the meadow and the forest. Here you can relax in a quiet environment in a beautiful location. Whether hiking - biking - bird watching or walking the dog, it is right on your doorstep. The house has an enclosed garden of 1300 m2 where you can sit in the sun - under the trees in the shade or under the sheltered covered terrace.The house is fully equipped (oa air conditioning).The nature cottage gives peace - space - comfort (made beds - bath / kitchen linen) and the large garden.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is situated on the edge of nature reserve Dwingelderveld and forestry Ruinen. A varied environment and ideal base for miles of cycling and walking (many routes start close to home). Or how about E-scooter or Segway riding or geocaching (GPS treasure hunt) from this nice place? Between Meppel and Hoogeveen, near Giethoorn, against Ruinen. The 3,700-hectare nature reserve is under the management of Natuurmonumenten. The varied landscape consists of beautiful forests with fens and heaths. The Drents-Friese Wold nature reserve, Emmen Zoo/Wildlands Adventure Zoo and the Drentse Koe play farm are also nearby. Or visit one of the many quaint villages like Bourtange, Ansen, Dwingeloo, Exloo or Orvelte.
