The keet is furnished as a bedroom with 2 chairs and a small table. There is a small sink, kettle and thus the possibility to make your own coffee and tea. This nature house stands for "back to basics", peace and outdoor space, living with nature and seasons. Next to our house we have a greenhouse, food forest, orchard, vegetable garden and a large barn. On the grounds are still The Log Cabin and The Tent for rent (from May). Around the shed are several berry bushes where you can snack (in season of course). Breakfast (including enough for lunch) and dinner is possible, at extra cost. In the latter case you eat what the pot serves (in your own cottage). More possibilities to make something yourself have already been thought of, but are not yet available. Sanitary facilities consist of a compost toilet and a shower with cold water (or in warm weather, lukewarm water). In 2026 you may share the plumbing with guests of The Tent.
Nature and surroundings
On the border between Drenthe and Overijssel you will find plenty of peace and space. You can enjoy walking and cycling. Towards Hardenberg you will find the beautiful Vechtdal and in Drenthe are several nature parks. On our own property is also a food forest (in development) and permaculture vegetable garden. Do you like to help there or learn more about the processing of the products, then also there are many things possible in consultation.

Oscar General rating:For those looking for peace and simplicity, this is all you are looking for at a soft price. Only downside is that it could be quite chilly in winter :) The immediate surroundings are mostly flat land, and within easy reach are several beautiful natural areas.
Voor wie rust en eenvoud zoekt, is dit alles wat je zoekt voor een zacht prijsje. Enige nadeel is dat het behoorlijk fris kon zijn in de winter :) De directe omgeving is vooral platte land, en op goed bereikbare afstand zijn verschillende mooie natuurgebieden te vinden.
