Large, charming, bright, easily accessible (nature) loft -without direct neighbors- in a fairly recent & sleek building, but with lots of vintage and other character touches. With incredible green views, enormous tranquility, a private terrace, a garden terrace.... But also all comfort amenities: a fully equipped, brand new kitchen (dishwasher, induction hob, fridge, combination oven...), 2 toilets and a bathroom with shower and washing machine, a large queen size bed and an additional sofa bed for 1 or even 2 people, several dining/working tables, a beautiful Chesterfield sitting area, lots of passive-small lights, a pellet stove, a DVD collection.... A part of the loft is further decorated (a small cinema, additional work tables, music facilities...) and is an open finished space (where we sometimes do a small-scale social event, hence the bar :-), but now it's just free extra space for luggage, movement.... For example for the kids, a dance between their parents.... ;-)
Nature and surroundings
The location is also ideal: in the midst of valuable natural and agricultural areas. At the foot of the beautiful Flemish Ardennes and close to Ghent (15 to 20 min) and many other cities / towns (Oudenaarde, Zottegem, Deinze, Ronse, Merelbeke, Wetteren ...). Brussels is only 35 min away. The large green garden is shared but hardly used: there are beautiful fruit trees, the views even lead to Ghent, the peace & pure air you get for free. Nearby is teeming with special nature spots: a Zwalmparel (because yes: we are also in the attractive Zwalm region) as the village Dikkele is a few 100 meters walk, there are plenty of forests, rivers / springs, rolling fields and tourist hotspots in the immediate vicinity. This region is a true hiker/cyclist's paradise! There is also much to experience culturally historically, apart from numerous stores, organic farmers and restaurants.... At the same time, the great city of Ghent is not far away, as are the major approach roads.
