You can cool off in the Molenduinbad.Shopping center Roden has enough stores to spend a whole day shopping. Also worth visiting are the museums such as the toy museum, and Veenhuizen has an impressive prison museum. You can also enjoy swimming in the outdoor pool. Also that area is a very special hiking area Or choose a bike ride to the beautiful Fochtelooerveen.
