In the beautiful Eifel region: The Sternehütte is located right next to our Heidschnucken pasture. Here you can enjoy a wonderful night’s sleep, cook a light meal, and make yourselves comfortable… Our Sternehütte stands in the meadow behind our farm, with an unobstructed view of the countryside. It’s much more of a glamping accommodation than a vacation home and does not have a bathroom. A shower, toilets, and a large sink are located in the restroom building 55 m away, which is also used by our camping guests. *** The cabin is equipped with a spacious double bed and two sofa sections (sleeping surfaces: 67x150 cm and 67x195 cm), which can be used as additional beds. Bedding and towels are included. There is a kitchenette with basic amenities, a refrigerator, and a dining table. Fresh water and a sink are available in the restroom building. *** A table and chairs for a spot on the summer meadow are provided for you, as well as a fire pit and a grill.

Our 400-year-old farm is located on the outskirts of Wachendorf, at the foot of the northern Eifel. Here you’ll find plenty of space on the large meadow, a bonfire in the evening, a clay sauna, products from our Heidschnucken sheep, barbecue packages, and chilled drinks… everything you need. *** The scenic hiking trails of the Eifelschleifen and Eifelspuren pass right by Wachendorf. The Eifel National Park is a 25-minute drive away. *** You can see the Bruder Klaus Field Chapel, built by Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, from our meadow—it’s only 800 m away. *** Swimming: Madbach Dam (14 km), Zülpich Water Sports Lake (15 km), Freilinger Lake (29 km), Kronenburger Lake (43 km), and the Maare, the volcanic lakes of the Eifel (approx. 75 km away). *** The open-air museum in Kommern, 13 km away, offers a journey of historical discovery. *** We have plenty of informational material on activities in the Eifel. the cottage was absolutely fine. Those two doors is a little awkward sometimes. A ladle is missing. But otherwise well taken care of.Response from host:Thanks for your review! het huisje was helemaal prima. Die twee deuren is soms beetje onhandig. Er ontbreekt een soeplepel. Maar verder goed verzorgd.
