This nature house is a cozy vacation apartment between the spring villages of Dwingeloo and Diever, within cycling distance of two National Parks. Originally built in 1905, the house has had various uses; from butcher shop to antiquarian bookshop. Until we bought the house in 2022 and partly converted it into a guest house. There is ample parking for both car and bicycles. In the living room there is a dining table, comfortable three-seater sofa, armchair and a smart TV. Seasonally, we make it cozy with appropriate decorations. Behind the stained-glass windows is the bedroom, with a bed 1.60 m wide. The open kitchen has a spacious stone sink and mixer tap. Pans, cutlery, refrigerator and cooking equipment - such as a two-burner stove and combination microwave - are also provided. The spacious bathroom has a rain shower with its own water heater and double sink. Many basic necessities are provided; such as toilet paper, hand and kitchen towels, bedding and coffee/tea.

Clean, tastefully decorated. The owners were away for the weekend themselves but easily accessible via chat and very friendly. When they returned on Sunday they came to meet us. Always nice as a guest to see whose nature house you are staying in.
