This detached bungalow in Gasselte, Drenthe, is the perfect place to unwind. Located in a quiet location with a large, enclosed garden of 700 m², this nature house is ideal for those who love space, greenery and privacy. Inside you will find a cozy living room with an atmospheric fireplace, smart TV and comfortable seating area. The open kitchen is fully equipped, including filter and Nespresso machine. There are two bedrooms with lovely beds and a modern bathroom with shower. Outside you can relax under the generous canopy with lounge sofa and dining area, ideal for long summer evenings. Dogs are welcome and can safely run free in the garden. Walk through the surrounding woods or take a refreshing dip in recreational lake 't Nije Hemelriek, within walking distance. With private parking, wifi and a ground floor layout, this is a fine, complete base for a short or long nature vacation. Towels, kitchen towels, bed linen reserved in advance through reception.
Nature and surroundings
Gasselte is located in the middle of one of the most beautiful natural areas of Drenthe: the Hondsrug. Here you walk through vast forests, along clear blue lakes such as 't Nije Hemelriek and the Gasselterveld, and over sand drifts and heathlands. An absolute must is the Boomkroonpad, where you literally walk between the tops of trees and experience nature from above. For hikers there are numerous routes, such as the Gasselterdennen route or the circular walk around the Gasselterveld, with viewpoints and swimming beaches. The Drouwenerzand is also nearby: a unique shifting sand area where you can really hear the silence. Whether you enjoy a relaxing walk in the woods, a refreshing dip in natural water or discovering special flora and fauna, in Gasselte you will find it all.
