A lovely comfortably furnished Belltent for 2 persons, equipped with a double bed (140x200) with two separate single comforters. Present: full kitchen inventory, garden chairs and picnic table, hammock, cool box with cooling elements, private campfire to cook over an open fire (including use of dutch oven / kettle), cooking facilities, dishwashing facilities. In the yard there is a Coffee Caravan where you can make your own coffee, bake frozen sourdough bread for breakfast, grab and fry a fresh egg from our chickens and borrow a book from our mini library. Chilled drinks ( Wilder Land), tea ( Wilder Land) and local alcoholic beverages are also available to enjoy ( again for a fee) during a delicious campfire evening. The accommodations (2 bell tents) are located on an area where there are also 5 camper/camping sites. There is plenty of privacy and space.
Nature and surroundings
Hygge Veen is located just outside the village of Tiendeveen and from our green oasis you can cycle or walk straight into the Mantingerveld nature reserve. Nearby are beautiful villages such as Ruinen, Westerbork, Dalen and Orvelte and the National Park Dwingelderveld is also easily accessible from here. Hygge Veen is besides a (ienieminie) campsite also a food forest under construction. Enjoy the roe deer, the badger the hedgehog and the many birds that come here to eat and scavenge and even live! Hoogeveen is the first larger town nearby. There you can go straight to several nice stores and supermarkets. Surrounding villages of course also offer (smaller) supermarkets and local entrepreneurs. From Tiendeveen is about 25 minutes drive to Emmen (Wildlands) and 40 minutes to Zwolle. Within walking distance is a Pitch 'n Putt and a restaurant.
