Nature house in Amioso do Senhor

Casinha Manel is a simple stone house carved out of schist stone by humble hands at the end of the 19th century. On the outside it has been preserved in its authenticity and crudeness from the difficult times of another era, in a small village in the interior of a backward and rural Portugal. The house was named in honour of his son Manuel, as it was the annex to his mother's house. In contrast to the exterior, the interior of the cottage combines the white and modernity of the 21st century with hints of the old, to create the perfect atmosphere of relaxation and serenity. It has a generous living room with kitchenette on the upper floor with a wood burning stove for a cosy night in when it gets colder and a small but comfortable bedroom suite on the lower floor, where the shop used to be. The two floors are connected via the outdoor patio.
