The Konikhof is situated in a secluded location north of Stendal in the Altmark region behind a forest. It is only about 10 meters from the front door of the vacation apartment to the forest, the other sides are surrounded by fields and pastures. The small apartment has a separate entrance. The living room and bedroom are furnished with antique furniture from the time the house was built. There is also a bathtub in the bathroom. In the living room you can cook on a two-plate induction hob, fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. Here you can relax and slow down, listening only to the buzzing of wild bees and bumblebees and the songs of orioles, nightingales, larks, swallows and hoopoes. You can observe the Polish wild horses (Koniks), wild animals, birds such as barn owls and many insects, go forest bathing, take walks or book a guided tour of the farm, garden and pastures or a workshop.
Nature and surroundings
Pure nature and absolute peace and quiet far away from the noise behind the forest. Around the farm there are only fields, forest and the pastures of the Koniks. The diverse nature invites you to observe the flora and fauna, take relaxing walks through the forest and along the fields. If you want a change, you can explore the surrounding old villages and picturesque towns such as Tangermünde, Stendal and Jerichow Monastery with its Bach stone Gothic, relax by the Elbe or swim in the lake in Wischer.
