On the border of Salzbürgerland / Tyrol lies Krimml (1100 meters). The village of Krimml is known for the Krimml waterfalls, with over 380 meters the highest waterfall in Europe and the Krimmler Achental with the Glacier. The lodge is decorated in the Austrian Alpine Style and can accommodate up to 10 people. There are 3 bedrooms with double beds and 1 room with 2 bunk beds (length 195cm). There are 3 bathrooms and 1 large sauna in the basement. A washer and dryer are available. The lodge is part of 2 semi-detached houses and has 2 private parking spaces. The house is heated by means of a heat pump. Electricity is generated by 95% Hydropower and 5% bio mass!
Nature and surroundings
On the border of Salzbürgerland / Tyrol lies Krimml (+ 1100 meters). The village of Krimml is known for the Krimml waterfalls, with over 380 meters the highest waterfall in Europe and the Krimml Achental with the Glacier. Our lodge is located just above the village center of the village of Krimml at 10 minutes walking distance from the waterfalls (route via the forest). The supermarket and warm bakery are within walking distance (approx. 3 min walk). The village is small, cozy and Austrian gemutlich with a few stores an intersport and a few restaurants The Achental is insanely beautiful! Once at the top of the waterfall there is a nice walk of several hours to the Glacier possible where the small river is always present. In addition, Krimml is a nice base for day trips (hiking, biking or skiing!)
