This brand new cottage is in a beautiful spot in the Krimpenerwaard and is fully equipped. The fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, refrigerator, quooker and washing machine, along with the adjacent seating area, has a fantastic view of the polder through the large glass fronts. From the bar stools at the kitchen and from the sitting area, one can watch the large TV screen with the capabilities of a smart TV. The small but beautifully finished open bathroom is equipped with a rain shower and sink. The toilet is located in a separate room. Sleep will be good on the luxurious double box spring in this quiet environment, where you will only hear the occasional bird whistling or a frog croaking. The view from the bed is just as beautiful as from the kitchen and the sitting area! From May to September (by arrangement) you can use the heated swimming pool free of charge.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is fantastic, but the surroundings are perhaps an even bigger reason to stay here. The cottage is at the back of our own property, bordering the polder. Relaxing here is easy. If you turn right, you walk, run or cycle directly into the polder and there are countless beautiful routes to follow. Turn left and within 10 minutes walk or one minute drive you are in the lively shopping street of Bergambacht. Here there is a wide range of all kinds of stores and good restaurants. There are many cozy villages in the area. Fancy more liveliness and facilities? After a 10-minute drive you are in the atmospheric silver town of Schoonhoven, just like Bergambacht lying on the river Lek. If you drive 15 minutes in the other direction, you can have fun in cheese town Gouda. In Bergambacht, take the ferry across the Lek and bike or drive to Kinderdijk to admire the windmills. Rotterdam, Utrecht and The Hague are also easy to drive to.
