At this nature house you don't have to choose between forest or sea - they're both there! This cozy, lovingly renovated stable house is located on the edge of the forest and only a 10-minute walk from the beach and the lively center of Callantsoog. It is a place to land, explore and make memories together. Spot birds in the enchanting dune area Het Zwanenwater (1.9 km), build sandcastles and be inspired by nature. Inside, everything is complete and provided with care: high ceiling in the living room, two bedrooms (upstairs with extra toilet), a bathtub, a separate toilet downstairs, and a fully equipped kitchen including organic basics. The nice atmosphere, made beds and towels give you an immediate feeling of coming home. No TV, but there is WiFi and games. The utility room is ideal for beach gear, bikes or a stroller. The enclosed garden is perfect for little adventurers or to enjoy the sunrise in peace.
Nature and surroundings
This nature house is located in the yard of our renovated farmhouse, on the outskirts of Callantsoog, overlooking the fields to the woods and heaths of the nature reserve 'Kooibosch' Surrounded by a fence and a beautiful versatile garden you will enjoy peace and privacy. Within 2 minutes you can walk through the beautiful forest, and the beach is only 900 meters away easy to walk. One of the most beautiful nature reserves of the North Sea coast 'Het Zwanenwater' is just around the corner and several beautiful bike rides through the dunes or the polder landscape start from here. Callantsoog has all amenities (supermarket, restaurants and stores), and the cozy town of Schagen is 15 minutes away by car. Of course, the ferry to Texel from Den Helder is also delightfully close, only 25 minutes away. Fruit trees, herb garden and large organic vegetable garden available in the yard. In season herbs available for visitors.
