Comfortable vacation home (4 pers.) on its own grounds just outside Diepenheim. Ideal for those who want to enjoy greenery, tranquility and space. The house has 3 bedrooms (1 double room, 2 single rooms including 1 with high sleeper). Cozy living room with French doors to a covered terrace. Kitchen with dishwasher, hot air oven, fridge, induction hob. Separate toilet. Bathroom with spacious shower, washing machine and dryer. Outside is a drying rack. In the woods are several seating areas, including an XL garden table. Pets NOT allowed.With us you stay consciously. We collect rain, bath & kitchen water which we use to water the garden. We are also connected to a septic tank which, after natural purification, ends up in the forest. Therefore, it is REQUIRED to use the biodegradable cleaning products we provide. Otherwise, the living organisms in the septic tank will die and any chemical cleaners will end up in the forest.
Nature and surroundings
Our cottage is located in our own forest (0.3 ha). The place to relax in the green. A buzzard nests there now, and you have a chance to see pheasants, hares, squirrels, Pied Woodpecker and various birds. Around our wooded bank you look out over the farmlands. In and around Diepenheim (2 km) are 6 castles, set in beautiful greenery. There are several hiking and cycling routes. And Diepenheim has a number of cozy cafes, Spar, butcher and bric-a-brac store. In the vicinity are several nature reserves such as Haaksbergerveen, Buurserzand, Needse achterveld, walk along the Regge. Every first Saturday of the month is the Regional Market in Delden (15 min) with local (partly organic) products. After a visit to the market you can of course stretch your legs on the beautiful Twickel Estate.Want something more eventful? Zutphen and Deventer can be reached in a good half hour.
