This beautiful villa is located in the countryside, in a small village called Real - Castelo de Paiva, in the interior of central Portugal, about 55 minutes from the international airport of Porto. The villa combines the charm of the old with the comforts of the modern. We have kept the old slate and granite walls and combined them with all the amenities of a thermally well insulated and equipped house.The villa has two suites, equipped with a closet and private bathroom, a comfortably furnished living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area and a hall with a guest toilet. On the ground floor you will find a fantastic game room and a relaxation room with a sofa bed for two. This room has a private bathroom. All rooms are air-conditioned and wifi. The living room has a wood stove for the colder days, so you can spend pleasant moments by the fire.
Nature and surroundings
The house is completely open to the outside through large windows that give access to the pool and large terrace, where you can enjoy the beautiful views of the countryside. The garden is rolling and features a swimming pool with sun loungers and grassy areas that invite you to relax and sunbathe. The area around the pool is not fenced, so if you are traveling with small children, you will need to supervise them in the outdoor areas and pool. (You will share the outdoor areas with other guests who may be staying in the adjacent house.) The house is accessed via a narrow country road. There is a parking space in front of the house to park your car and unload your luggage. At the end of the little road is a spacious parking lot where you can park your car during your stay. This is the ideal place to relax surrounded by the natural beauty of the region. Here you will find several river beaches, hiking trails along the river and old slate villages to visit.
