Minicamping de Peelheuvel is located on the outskirts of Sint Anthonis. Here, you can enjoy the peace and quiet and the unobstructed view across the meadows toward the Staatsbossen. Here at the campground, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset, horses galloping by, a fun board game, or a crackling fire. You’re welcome to build a fire in a fire pit or enjoy a delicious BBQ on a charcoal grill. We have two fire pits and one barbecue available. You can purchase charcoal and firewood for a small fee. Please note: there is no toilet or shower inside the mobile home itself. The restroom facilities are located about 20 meters away. The communal mobile home contains some games and books. It also has a microwave, electric kettle, refrigerator with freezer compartments, and chair cushions. This mobile home is located under a covered but open tent where you can relax. There are also two hanging chairs where you can relax with a book or take a nap.
Nature and surroundings
There are beautiful biking and hiking trails in the area, for example through the Staatsbossen, the Maasheggen, or along one of the recreational lakes. You can also visit the windmill in Wanroij or the monastery in Sint Agatha. If you’re looking to relax, check out the Blue Wellness Boat in Mill. If you’d rather be active, there’s a golf course in Overloon. Overloon is also home to the Zoopark and the War Museum. In Sint Anthonis itself, you can enjoy a tasty bite to eat at the Heksenboom or at the 3 Burgemeesters. For a night out, head to Theater de Weijer in Boxmeer.
