Nature house in Albergen

The cottage has everything you could possibly imagine. I had even brought my own milk frother, but they had one there too, and the owners go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. If there’s a problem, they fix it right away without complaint, and they’re super friendly. The bed is great, too. Their dog, Luna, stopped by every now and then, which I really enjoyed—she’s such a sweet little thing.
All in all, highly recommended!
If I may offer one small tip, it would be to install a screen on the front door. Without realizing it, a few mosquitoes still managed to get inside when we arrived, and with a screen, you can keep the door slightly open for ventilation without letting all kinds of insects into the house.

Het huisje heeft alles wat je maar kan bedenken. Ik had zelf een melkopschuimer meegenomen maar zelfs dat was aanwezig en de eigenaren doen er alles aan om het naar je zin te maken en als er iets is lossen ze het meteen zonder te morren op en ze zijn super vriendelijk. Het bed is ook prima. Hun hond Luna kwam kwam zo nu en dan even langs en dat vond ik heel leuk, is een lief beestje.
Al met al een aanrader!
Als ik 1 tipje mag geven is dat het plaatsen van een hor bij de voordeur. Ongemerkt kwamen er toch nog wel wat muggen binnen bij binnenkomst en met een hor kun je het een beetje laten doortochten zonder allerlei insecten in huis te krijgen.

You can hear the N-road, which is a bit further away, just a little bit, depending on the wind. From the cottage, you can start hiking right away and enjoy the peace and quiet, or go on beautiful hikes in the area—there are plenty to choose from.

Hier kun je echt onthaasten en genieten van de koeien waar je vanuit het huisje op kijkt. Als je van rust houdt is dit de juiste plek. Je hoort de N-weg die een stuk verderop ligt wel een klein beetje afhankelijk van de wind. Vanuit het huisje kun je meteen wandelen en genieten van de rust of mooie wandelingen in de buurt doen want die zijn er genoeg.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming little house, set on a lovely farmyard with cows, a dog, and cats. It has everything you could possibly need—you name it, it’s there. The owners are incredibly kind and attentive. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful, and rural. We were there for the Stift Festival, but there’s also plenty of cycling and hiking to do. In short, highly recommended!

Geweldig verblijf gehad in dit charmante huisje, op een heerlijk boerenerf met koeien, hond en katten. Alles is aanwezig, je kunt het zo gek niet bedenken of het is er. De eigenaren zijn ontzettend aardig en zorgzaam. De omgeving is prachtig, rustig, landelijk. Wij waren er voor het Stiftfestival maar er valt ook veel te fietsen en te wandelen. Kortom, een aanrader!
