Enjoy the overwhelming tranquility of the meadows around you. On the terrace drink a cup of coffee or wine, while watching the grazing Lakenvelder cows and other animals less than 20 meters away. The caravan has a separate sleeping area with 2 person box spring 160 m wide, a large sitting area, a small sitting area, a kitchen area with refrigerator, large jerry can for water, coffee maker, kettle, stove, oven/microwave, toaster and of course cups, plates, cutlery etc. The caravan has a private bathroom 10 meters away from the caravan. This bathroom has a shower, hanging toilet and sink with hot water. There is no running water, sink and (working) toilet in the caravan. The accommodation is located on a mini campsite on a small agricultural farm. Here you will also find 2 furnished tents and up to 5 pitches.
Nature and surroundings
From the campsite you can make beautiful walks on country roads and through meadows. The campsite is located 800 meters from the dike with Ringvaart canal and windmills: a typical North Holland scene. Take a walk around one of our lakes in the area, or drive to the beach and dunes for beautiful walks and bike rides.The campsite is located in the small village of Hensbroek. Go swimming in the recreational lake barely 1.5 kilometers away. 3 kilometers away is Obdam with 2 supermarkets, an outdoor swimming pool, train station and 2 restaurants. Heerhugowaard is right next to Hensbroek, with many restaurants, bars, a bowling alley, cinema, indoor swimming pool and large indoor shopping center Middenwaard. After 30 minutes drive you are at the coast. A 15-minute drive takes you to the beautiful small towns of Hoorn and Alkmaar with its cheese market. Amsterdam is 40 minutes away by car.
