"La Cuesta in the Woods" is located between Bruges and Ghent, in Ursel. Surrounding this idyllic home is a large, green garden with two cozy patios where your four-legged friend can run around. From the spacious living room with its wood-toned decor, the kitchen, and the bedrooms, you have a view of the garden and the woods. The property is fenced and completely private, with parking and a driveway. Internet and TV are, of course, available. All necessary appliances are provided, including a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, and freezer. You’ll love cooking here. The beds are neatly made, bath linens are provided, and two standard bicycles are ready to use. There are bike routes, hiking trails, and plenty of day trips to enjoy. Dogs are welcome, too. The house is located in the Drongengoed region in the province of East Flanders, in Ursel (Aalter). The forest has many hiking and biking trails, ideal for outings. The Drongengoed Farm tells the story of how the Drongengoed and the cuesta on which we’re situated came to be. A short distance away is a small airfield where recreational flying takes place on weekends—it’s nice to go take a look at the end of the lane. There are rest areas, a play forest, a gnome trail, a museum, and a brasserie. You’ll see plenty of cyclists and hikers here, and the GR trail isn’t far away. There’s a very good chance you’ll spot roe deer, especially early in the morning. Here and there, new heather is being planted. Come and experience “Het Meetjesland” for yourself. You can do your shopping at local stores or a little further away. There’s plenty of choice, and there are cozy restaurants nearby. The art cities of Bruges and Ghent are also close by.
