Welcome to this attractive, detached nature house on the edge of nature reserve De Witte Bergen in IJhorst. Perfect for peace seekers, hikers and nature lovers who want to enjoy silence, space and nature. The cottage stands on a generous, wooded plot with lots of privacy. From the sunny terrace you can hear only birds and rustling leaves - pure relaxation. The hospitality is personal and cared for, with an eye for detail, as you would expect from a real nature house. Layout: cozy living room with a view of greenery, kitchen with dining area and basic facilities, three bedrooms (1x double bed, 2x twin beds), modern bathroom with shower and separate toilet. "After booking, you can easily add a linen package with beds made and towels, so you arrive carefree."
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located directly on hiking and biking trails, including the beautiful Reest valley. In the vicinity you will find forests, heathland, small streams and picturesque villages. A short distance away are Meppel, Staphorst and National Park Dwingelderveld. Also perfect as a base for a day trip to Giethoorn. During your stay you can use the swimming facilities at the nearby campsite 'De Vossenburcht'. On the keychain you will find a key labeled 'DOM'. On the campsite you will find, among other things, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a snack bar, a restaurant and a cozy children's playground. It is also possible to rent bikes here. Play Pond De Zwarte Dennen The recreational pond De Zwarte Dennen (distance 3.5km) is a wonderful place to enjoy nice weather. The pond is surrounded by sand - perfect for sunbathing, building sandcastles or paddling in the shallow water.
