In the "big" cottage there is a living room with wood stove. A small kitchen and a bedroom with 140x200 bed. Outside, you come to the porch that overlooks the lake, where you can admire the sunset. In the garden you will find vegetables, flowers, blueberries and maybe chanterelles. On the dock you can enjoy in the sun or take the boat with electric motor to explore the lake. In the "small" cottage you will find two rooms with in the first a compost toilet and in the other a bedroom with 160x200 bed, overlooking the lake. Our stuga is off grid, which means there is no running water or sewer. Because of solar panels connected to the "big" house, there is plenty of electricity. The gas stove and small refrigerator run on gas cylinders and there is a compost toilet outside. Showering or washing can be done via the outdoor shower or in the lake.
Nature and surroundings
Our stuga is located in the middle of the Brattforsheden on Lake Alstern. The silence and nature is breathtaking for young and old. Here you can walk for hours in silence. Along the way there is plenty of wildlife to see or pick from. You can also take the boat to catch a delicious meal or admire the real Swedish nature from the water.
