The cottage is located in the middle of the forest of Gasselte. Within cycling distance is the hemelriekje, a mountain bike and hiking route. You stay on private property and is within walking distance of 2 restaurants. At the entrance to the park is a laundromat, a pizza machine and bike rental. You can also charge the electric car.
