Welcome! If you love nature, authenticity and a personal form of tourism embedded in its surrounding... this is the place! The house consists of multiple ancient ruins that have been renovated in line with the traditional and local ways of this region: thousands of schist stones constitute the walls and the roofs are made of big chestnut beams. It's beautiful, charming and surrounded by pure nature.
Nature and surroundings
We live down in what is called 'happy valley', on a gorgeous quinta (a land with house/farm). It has a river bordering the land. Here you take a fresh dip in crystal clear water, enjoy reading a book in the hammock and look at all the mountains surrounding you. On clear nights, the starts shine bright with little light pollution, making you feel small and thankful for the beauty all around. There is a walk on the hill from the house to the car of about 4 minutes, but for your effort you are rewarded with pure nature surrounding you!
