At the back of our farmyard, on the edge of our private forest and overlooking the pasture, you’ll find our two guest cottages. The cottages are fully equipped, with their own kitchen, bathroom, and separate sleeping areas. Each cottage has its own terrace and plenty of outdoor space. You’ll share the sunny lawn with the other cottage. There’s a cozy hammock there, and you can enjoy a campfire. Our property is a fun place for young and old alike. The “De Boskat” guest cottage has its own entrance and terrace. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable sitting area, dining area, and well-equipped kitchen. There’s a TV with Chromecast. In the living area, you’ll find the double bed in a cozy corner. A staircase leads to the upper floor, where there is a single bed. This area can be closed off with a sliding door. If you’re staying with two people and would still like to use the bed upstairs, we can make it up for you (if requested in advance) or provide bedding for a fee of 15 euros (cash).
Nature and surroundings
Welcome to Sint Oedenrode—a beautiful, green area full of forests, heathlands, meadows, and quaint villages. It’s a favorite destination for many hikers and cyclists. But what makes this area truly special is the beautiful Dommel Valley that flows through it. If you have a SUP, be sure to bring it along; otherwise, there’s a canoe launch site less than a kilometer away. Of course, there are also beautiful trails running along the Dommel. There are several lovely cafes and restaurants here in the woods, and the village of Son is just a short drive away for your grocery shopping. Our guesthouse is a 20-minute drive from Eindhoven. You can also enjoy a lovely bike ride through the countryside all the way to Eindhoven (11 km), and there’s a good bus connection as well.

Just as you'd expect. Spacious yard bordering a private wooded area.

A great area for biking and hiking. And that's exactly what we did.
A beautiful little cottage, clean and fully equipped. The bed was great, too—we slept wonderfully. There’s a nice little seating area in front of the cottage. The hosts are friendly and always willing to answer questions. They even gave us some cherry tomatoes, and they were delicious!

The accommodation is very stylish and comfortably furnished and everything has been thought of. The garden is particularly beautiful, where you can even make a campfire. The property is home to chickens, a goat and a cute cat. The animals make the stay very enjoyable. The landlords are particularly great, they gave us tips for excursions, were always available to answer questions and are generally very welcoming. They even gave us a little wood chopping workshop.
The accommodation is located in a quiet and very nice neighborhood, yet a small town is within easy reach. Due to the large garden and the farm, this accommodation is very idyllic, it is just nice to sit on the terrace in the morning or in the hammock. From there you can walk into the fields or into the forest for a walk and by car you can reach many beautiful places in nature within 15 minutes. A canoe trip is also possible, only 10 minutes away.
This text is automatically translated.
