8 persons luxury vacation home on 6 acres of private nature reserve with forest, grassland and fens. Our house is a real family house with lots of space and comfort. Perfect for example for a large family or 2 families. From the large dining table you look out on the water birds in the bog pingo (the fens in front of the house). The open kitchen is fully equipped and adjoins a sunny terrace with a large outdoor table. The living room is tastefully decorated, seats all guests and has a wide view of nature. The smart TV is in the front room. The sliding doors all around give lots of light and through the 2 terraces you have easy access to the garden. There are 4 bedrooms (2 on the ground floor) and 2 bathrooms (1 on the ground floor with bath). In the spacious utility room is the washing machine. The house has underfloor heating and a wood stove.

The house is located in its own very varied nature reserve of 6 acres. The entire property is private, so you rent the house with its own nature reserve. That makes it really special! The feeling of space already starts at the 200-meter long dirt road leading to the house. Discover the playing meadow and forest and heathland behind. Enjoy the beauty of the bog pingo, flora and fauna. In addition to the many birds (we saw tawny owl, buzzard, woodcock, little grebe, crane, among others), the area is home to roe deer, badgers, foxes and hares. In the vicinity are many hiking, cycling and bridle paths. Nature reserves Fochteloërveen and Drents-Friese Wold are nearby. Like the "Colony of Welfare" in Veenhuizen (Unesco Heritage). Villages Roden and Norg are 7 km away and offer all amenities, including swimming pool. Cities of Groningen and Assen within 30 minutes by car.
