A wooden cottage in a beautiful spot: right on the Reeuwijk lakes! With a large lawn, lots of privacy and its own jetty with swimming ladder. What will be your favorite spot? On the lounger in the sun? In the shade on the porch? Everywhere the view is beautiful.The cottage consists of a living room with dining table and sitting area (including queen sofa bed) with electric heating. There is an open kitchen (2024) with a small fridge freezer, two-burner induction hob, small dishwasher and Airfryer. A second refrigerator is available on the veranda if necessary. There is a small (unheated) bathroom with shower, WC and sink (2024) and a double bedroom. In the loft (not safe for children under 12!) are 2 thick mattresses. There is a solar outdoor shower, and you can use the Kamodo Joe BBQ, two sup's, hammock, ping pong table, Jeu de Boule & Kupp. Inside is a guitar and electric piano.
Nature and surroundings
Our cottage is located in the middle of the Reeuwijk lakes, where you can enjoy walking, cycling, swimming, canoeing, sailing, etc.. Within walking distance are 3 restaurants and rental of whisper boats and canoes. 2 km away is a shopping center including a supermarket and bike rental. The historic center of Gouda with its special town hall, church, museums, old harbor and cinema is fifteen minutes by bike. Or visit for example Oudewater, the oldest town in the Green Heart. Our cottage is located on an island and is accessible via a bridge (which you share with the neighbors) and a footpath (where you can also cycle). Park your car 500 meters away (there is a bike with trailer available to bring your things to the cottage), or come by public transport bike from Gouda station. Enjoy the space, the splashing water, the singing birds and everything that grows and blooms here.
