Nature house in Varnsdorf

Our large group house, located right on the lake, sits at the foot of the Zittau and Lusatian Mountains, not far from Bohemian Switzerland, just half a kilometer from the German border. It currently comfortably accommodates 27 people, making it ideal for large or multiple families, group stays, corporate events, as well as training sessions and various types of events such as yoga classes, weddings, team-building workshops, and similar activities. On the upper floor, there is a large common room (80 square meters) with seating for 30 people and access to the partially covered terrace, which offers a beautiful view of Lake Varnsdorf. Here you’ll also find a large, modern kitchen for self-catering. Alternatively, you can choose from various restaurants in the immediate and wider vicinity or have food delivered; we’d be happy to assist you in selecting a suitable provider on either the German or Czech side.

The house is situated in a secluded location directly on the shore of Lake Varnsdorf. Adjacent to the garden, which features a fire pit and seating areas, is a public park with a beach volleyball court, a ping-pong table, a children’s playground, and a small covered stage; a newly built walking and biking path runs around the lake. In addition to swimming, the lake is perfect for boat rides or paddleboarding in the summer. Both the Zittau and Lusatian Mountains invite you to explore nature with their numerous rewarding peaks, marked hiking trails, mossy forests, and crystal-clear streams. While the German side features impressive rock formations such as the Jonsdorf Rock City or Mount Oybin with its castle and monastery ruins, the Czech side entices visitors with plenty of unspoiled nature, an extensive network of hiking trails, and wonderful viewpoints. The Bohemian Switzerland National Park begins just fifteen kilometers from our house.
