Where the nights are still dark, where you can still wander endlessly in nature on your bike, walking, running or otherwise.... Lies our lovely (almost) forest cottage. We rent our 4 person cottage on a small campsite, where all necessary facilities are available. Think of a swimming pool, laundry, restaurant, takeaway service, reception, playgrounds and entertainment in season or with special holidays. The cottage is comfortably furnished with 2 bedrooms, 1 double bed (160x200) and 2 single beds. The beds are made. There is ample closet space in both bedrooms. There is a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet In the cottage there is also a spacious kitchen where you are fully equipped. There is a living room with a spacious seating area at both the living room area and the dining area. Outside there is a large (partially) covered veranda with a large seating area, and in the garden there is a picnic bench. You are guaranteed to enjoy your peace and quiet here!
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located near a hamlet called Oude Willem. This place lies between Diever and Appelscha, both are also very easily accessible by bicycle or car. The environment is very natural, you are in the middle of the Drents Friese Wold. At the entrance of the campsite there are cycling and walking routes that will lead you through the entire nature park. There is a great variety of nature, think of forests, lakes but also large sandy plains ("Kale Dunes"). In the vicinity, in addition to nature, there is also plenty of culture to experience, think of the Veenkoloniën, Shakespeare theater in Diever, Giethoorn, villages like Diever, Dwingeloo, Frederiksoord. If you come with children there is also plenty to do as the experience path in Hoogersmilde (2km from the campsite), the climbing forest in Appelscha or eg the large playground "the Drentse Koe" There is plenty to see and do!
