Cottage JUPITER offers the ideal setting for a wonderful stay surrounded by nature, where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and completely unwind. This architect-designed cottage (architect Nynke-Rixt Jukema), spread over three floors, has been furnished with care and taste, and its playful layout offers a unique sense of space. There are 3 compact bedrooms: 2 double beds (160x200) and a bunk bed (80x200), 2 bathrooms, and 2 toilets, ensuring plenty of privacy and comfort for (young) families or active travelers seeking peace and quiet. “Cozing up together” by the warm wood stove is, of course, also an option! The cottage is modern and comfortably equipped: underfloor heating, a covered bike charging station, a Jotul wood stove, a Smart TV for fast streaming, and parking right outside the door. You’ll experience peace, comfort, and a sense of creativity!
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is playfully perched on one of the two hills and invites you to enjoy the nature around you, both indoors and outdoors. From the living room on the top floor, you have a view not only of the forest (keep an eye out for deer) but also of the Terhorsterzand/Dwingelderveld nature reserve. Here you’ll find heathlands, forests, ponds, and small lakes where you can enjoy plenty of walking, biking, and swimming. You can relax in the morning sun on the terrace and in the evening under the porch. On quiet nights, you can truly experience the darkness here and gaze at the stars. A shared, simply heated swimming pool (open in June, July, and August—free for campground guests) is a 300-meter walk away. Located on a private property at the end of a dead-end road, bordering woods and heathland, there are about 14 different cottages, some of which are still under construction. A really nice house with great furnishings! The cleanliness on the day of arrival (floors, some dishes) could be improved! We liked the location!
