You have the kingdom all to yourself on a 1.5-hectare site: meadow, a frog pool, forest, an orchard.... but if you have an eye for it, you will see that you are a guest of many birds, insects, hares, deer, frogs, etc. Of course there are binoculars in the Tiny house! If you have always wanted to experience what an off-grid life can be like, here is your chance. A Tiny house, with all the amenities, but coming from solar panels, a gas tank and groundwater. That requires a certain lifestyle in which you make choices: is the battery charged enough to run all the lights AND the refrigerator AND the water heater? Is there enough water to shower now, or do I crank the groundwater pump first, to fill the tank? Do I use the dry toilet in the Tiny house or do I prefer forest toilet with sawdust? Here you become very aware of what you -only- need to stay somewhere pleasant and comfortable. Take this chance, you won't regret it!
Nature and surroundings
The terrain where the Tiny house stands is a secluded oasis in the outskirts of Diepenheim. The plot is fenced and you will be the only guest, so it will be a feast for your pets. If you come for peace and nature, there is no reason to leave the terrain. You might hear or see a farmer on the adjoining plot, but usually you won't meet any people here. However, if you feel the need for some "action" once in a while: Diepenheim is a beautiful town with 6 castles, lots of art, wooded and a special, open atmosphere. You can enjoy walking and cycling. In the vicinity you will find towns full of character such as Delden, Borculo, Lochem and Ruurlo. The scenic landscape of Twente shows its best side here!
