Unique nature experience on the water - with your own garden and a view over the Jisperveld Experience the peace and charm of the Jisperveld - sleeping on a tjalk in the middle of nature Welcome aboard our smoke-free cozy character tjalk, a historic boat that now offers a special place to spend the night, located on a private property in the middle of the Natura 2000 area the Jisperveld. Here you are literally surrounded by nature, overlooking the watery peat meadow area where silence, birdsong and the rustling of reeds set the tone. Next to the boat is a private terrace with garden, where you can enjoy the greenery, the view and the rhythm of the land and water in complete privacy. A special surprise: the sanitary facilities are housed in a beautifully converted, large wine barrel - completely in style with the natural elements. Here you will find a comfortable shower and a toilet, surprisingly spacious and unique in experience. In the Tjalk itself there is 1 toilet.
Nature and surroundings
You are in the middle of the Wormer and Jisperveld, a unique nature reserve that is part of the protected Natura 2000 network, One of the largest peat meadow areas in Western Europe. This landscape of narrow ditches, green meadows and waving reeds. In the spring it is brimming with life: godwits, lapwings, kingfishers, bluethroats and bearded reedbills show themselves in abundance - and who knows, maybe even a marsh harrier will hover above your head. Let yourself be carried along to the rhythm of the water, listen to the rustling of the reeds and feel the wind through your hair. Binoculars search for birds, walk in silence along the old paths, discover the Beemster World Heritage Site or enjoy a sunset from the deck of the tjalk - in the Field you will always experience something special. In the surrounding yard you will find a warm, rural atmosphere. Free-roaming chickens happily scratch around, our miniature horses on display and you have a unique view of the historic Jispersluis
