Nature house in Midlaren

Actually nothing at all to comment on; we had a top stay!

Eigenlijk helemaal niets op aan te merken; we hebben een topverblijf gehad!

Echt een topverblijf! Mooie en fijne locatie, goed uitgerust huisje en aardige, behulpzame hosts. Een absolute aanrader!

The cottage is very complete and tastefully decorated. Everything has been thought of and there was even a bottle of wine waiting for us. Even with 6 adults it is spacious enough. It has nice beds and a spacious, fresh bathroom with even a washer and dryer. For us it was an ideal base for visiting the city of Groningen.

Het huisje is heel compleet en sfeervol ingericht. Er is echt aan alles gedacht en er stond zelfs een flesje wijn voor ons klaar. Ook met 6 volwassenen is het ruim genoeg.
Het heeft fijne bedden en een ruime, frisse badkamer met zelfs een wasmachine en droger. Boven is nog een extra toilet.
Voor ons was het een ideale uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan de stad Groningen.

The cottage is located on a beautiful estate in a nice, quiet spot on a wide ditch. At the rear is a nice terrace, with garden table and bench and unobstructed views over the fields.

Het huisje ligt op een prachtig landgoed op een mooie, rustige plek aan een brede sloot. Aan de achterzijde ligt een mooi terras, met tuintafel en -bank en vrij uitzicht over de velden.

Almost everything a 10 for us, except the bedroom where the bed is against the wall and not accessible from 2 sides. This is inconvenient because the headboard is in the way. Would put 2 single beds there without headboard and footboard.

Bijna alles een 10 voor ons, behalve de slaapkamer waar het bed tegen de muur staat en niet bereikbaar is van 2 kanten. Dat is lastig, omdat het hoofdbord in de weg zit. Zou 2 eenpersoons bedden daar zetten zonder hoofd- en voetenbord.

We stayed for a week in nature house 'Ayres' in Midlaren. First a midweek with our friends and made wonderful bike rides in the area, including around the Zuidlaardermeer. Beautiful surroundings, and a lovely, clean and fresh house. We lacked nothing: a beautiful spacious house, tastefully decorated and super complete. Around it a lovely terrace on the water overlooking beautiful nature. We thoroughly enjoyed the view, in the morning with a cup of coffee and breakfast and in the evening with a glass of wine, there was always something beautiful to see. The quiet, the space, the peacefulness, the location of the house on an estate, guaranteed a complete vacation feeling.The hostess Marisa, was warm, responded quickly and adequately to questions. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommended! We will definitely come back to this pearl! Bernhard, Alie, Wim and Geertje

Wij verbleven een week in natuurhuisje 'Ayres' in Midlaren. Eerst een midweek met onze vrienden en hebben heerlijke fietstochten in de omgeving gemaakt, o.a. rond het Zuidlaardermeer. Prachtige omgeving, en een heerlijk, schoon en fris huis. Het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken: een prachtig ruim huis, smaakvol ingericht en super compleet. Daar omheen een heerlijk terras aan het water met uitzicht over prachtige natuur. We hebben volop genoten van het uitzicht, 's morgen met een kop koffie en ontbijt en 's avonds met een glas wijn, er was altijd iets moois te zien. De rust, de ruimte, de vredigheid, de ligging van het huis op een landgoed, stonden garant voor een compleet vakantiegevoel.
De gastvrouw Marisa, was hartelijk, reageerde snel en adequaat op vragen. We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad, echt een aanrader! Wij komen zeker nog eens terug in deze parel!
