Vacation Home in Central Portugal Want to get away from it all? Want to get away from it all? Come to our beautiful quinta in central Portugal! A delightful vacation home with all the comforts and none of the stress. A two-hour drive from Porto Airport, near the town of Tábua. A beautiful piece of land right on the Mondego River. The comfortable vacation home is nestled in the woods, with views of the wide river through the trees. On the quiet little beach, locals occasionally go fishing, and sometimes someone passes by in a small boat, but otherwise you’ll hardly see anyone there. This nature house is ideal for people who love nature and the still-undiscovered Portugal. Espadanal is an old, typical Portuguese village. Five kilometers away lies the town of Tábua, which has a supermarket, restaurants, a bus station, a weekly market on Sundays, and a large market on the first Sunday of every month. The house is suitable for 2 or possibly 3 people.
Nature and surroundings
A unique spot on the Mondego River. The vacation home and the main building are situated on over 4 hectares of private land, partly cultivated (terraces with grapevines, olive trees, and fruit trees) and partly overgrown: many trees, ferns, various streams, flowers and plants, sun and shade. If you’re patient, you can spot otters, kingfishers, and crayfish. There are plenty of lizards, non-venomous grass snakes, crickets, birds, salamanders, and butterflies. The quinta is located just outside the small village of Espadanal, home to friendly people. The quinta is easily accessible. The final stretch from the village is an easily navigable sandy path.
